Chemical Inventory
Chemical inventories must be submitted to the Office of Environmental Health and Safety upon initial lab setup and again annually. They must also be submitted when new chemicals are introduced to the lab. This is an OSHA mandate that can carry a fine of up to $16,131 per violation. The inventory must be submitted using the EHS Chemical Inventory Format.

Required Lab Training
Safety training for laboratory workers must be completed annually based on the hazards in the lab. The training modules provided through the university's training management system allow the university to maintain OSHA standards of General Duty and Laboratory safety. Failure to provide proof that this annual training is done carries a fine of up to $16,131 per violation.
