Large Waterjet Part Submission

L3HSDC Large Waterjet Request Form

Please use this form to submit .dxf files and engineering drawing to be cut on the large waterjet at the L3HSDC. Only material larger than 12 inch x 12 inch or thicker than 3/4 inch will be accepted. Feel free to speak with a staff member if you have any questions.

- Material must be provided
- Dxf files and engineering drawings must be in inches
- Only approved request will be cut
- Only Senior Design and Research requests are gauranteed to be cut within a week of recieving the material and submission approval

Notes on DXF files and engineering drawings:
- DXF and Drawings MUST be in inches
- If you need tight tolerances for a press fit, please indicate those features on the engineering drawing
- If you plan on nesting multiple parts into on DXF file, please speak with a staff member after your submission
*** Creo Users: You must make a drawing file with 1:1 scale of the part, and export the drawing as a DXF file to have the correct geometry.
